Apptus eSales Boost for EPiServer Commerce

Apptus, leading provider of technology to power relevant, profitable eCommerce experiences, today announced the availability of its advanced merchandising capabilities tailored specifically to the eCommerce platform from EPiServer.  The new package, based on Apptus’ flagship eCommerce product – Apptus eSales – will provide plug and play integration of behavioral search and merchandising for EPiServer Commerce.

EPiServer customers can now easily offer the right product at the right time to each visitor as they search and browse their stores.  Apptus’ technology performs this function automatically by continually learning from the behavior of site visitors to create relevant search results, navigation options and product recommendations for each visitor – from their first visit.  As a result, visitors find the products they are looking for more easily, spend is increased and customer satisfaction boosted.

Michael Mokhberi, CEO at Apptus, said:  “Creating a relevant online experience for visitors is a pressing issue for retailers in the competitive eCommerce market place.  In the past, solutions have only been accessible to multi-million dollar companies like Amazon or eBay.  We are delighted to be changing that - the combination of EPiServer and Apptus will now bring world class solutions within the reach of a far broader range of retailers.”

“Consumers have high expectations of eCommerce sites, with little patience for anything but the best search and navigation capabilities, while they are also consistently influenced by appropriate recommendations and suggestions. Apptus brings advanced capabilities in both these areas in a single solution,” said David Bowen, Product Manager at EPiServer.

The integration is being made available as part of the EPiMore Partner Programme. Apptus eSales Boost for EPiServer is available immediately. For more information see www.apptus.com/episerver.

A lot of the counseling we do for customers in our physical stores is about guiding them to the right products. We saw that on our online store as well, that we needed to improve our search and navigation. We chose to use Apptus to increase the customer experience.
