Apptus buys property in Lund
Emera AB is buying Trollebergsvägen 5 from the Lunds Energy Group for the IT company APPTUS. The deal has been signed and Apptus will move into the property in December 2008. Through this deal, the city of Lund has managed to attract an international development company to establish itself in the very heart of the city.Trollebergsvägen 5 has an attractive location in the centre of Lund close to the train station and the city buses.
The founder of APPTUS Michael Mokhberi comments on the deal:
“Apptus is a high technology IT business with its roots in Lund. The proximity to Lund University and the creative atmosphere that envelops the city of Lund has been an important success factor in the rapid development of Apptus. Since the company is in a process of ongoing internationalization it’s essential for our co-workers to have the central station around the corner with easy connections to Kastrup. We’re happy to be able to expand to new markets whilst keeping our main office in our home-town where everything started. Our new property will create room for up to a hundred co-workers, and will act as a headquarter for our units in North America and the UK."
Apptus will be moving into the premises on 1 December 2008.
