The top 100 e-commerce companies in Sweden all attended the “Big E-Commerce Day 2008“in Stockholm in May. Here’s a summary of the hottest topics:

- How do you increase conversion rate and overall sales? Every day you hear about a new way of transforming website visitors tino buying customers, but what actually works? Using simple prediction that gives all customers the same recommendation is today seen as out of date. Presenting only top-sellers to a customer is less and less applicable; you have to use more specific details to give a more valuable experience. Personalization is an important way to make your customers feel comfortable and assists them through your website. Using an advanced predictor with specific parameters is a way to meet each customer’s specific needs. This also gives you the possibilities to offer your customers something extra that they are not expecting.

- Multi-channel sales and marketing – is no longer an upcoming trend, but a fact. For example many large retailers already use their web site to drive store traffic, and use “kiosks” in their stores to drive traffic to their web site.

- How can B2B companies capitalize on B2C experiences? The traditional business dialogue when B2B customers place an order has to be moved into the e-commerce environment. How do you do that? Allbiz successfully implemented with Apptus platform
