Business Development Representative
Location: Lund, Sweden

We are looking for someone with entrepreneurial focus, ambition and high energy that wants to participate in Apptus continued growth. Someone who can create relationships with some of Scandinavia’s largest retailers.

At Apptus you’ll be an integral part of the growing sales team. The sales organisation consists of people in Scandinavia, Great Britain and Germany.

Your role as Business Development Representative means that you’ll identify, develop and generate new business leads for the Scandinavian region and act as support for field account executives. You will be required to contact influential marketing and technology executives to drive demand for Apptus products and solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Generate market interest and drive sales activity
  • Serve as internal business development executive
  • Manage CRM reporting and activities
  • Approach prospects and contacts via email/phone/social media to introduce and generate interest in Apptus eSales
  • Follow up and generate qualified leads to senior sales representative
  • Manage high-level business deals in a fast-moving sales environment
  • Listen to the needs of the market and share insights with product- and marketing team
  • Create reliable forecasts and keep sales management up to date on the pipeline status

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong desire to be in technology sales
  • Prior inside sales/lead generation experience
  • Experience of at least 1-2 years of enterprise B2B sales
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills in Swedish and English
  • Excellent verbal, written and telephone skills supported by strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within a fast-moving team structure
  • Ability to assess business opportunities and use data to inform decision making and persuade others
  • Ability to take initiative and maintain high call volumes
  • Experience with sales methodologies and processes
  • Good at active listening to assess prospect needs and opportunities
